Acapulco is a premier tourist destination for Mexico. It was the place for 50s Hollywood stars and millionaires to vacation and spend time on the beach. The northern end of Acapulco is where famous personalities owned properties. This is where the boardwalk and main square are and today. Filled with modern, Mexican-style hotels and restaurants within walking distance.
