Maja Homberger and Bruna Rea have been in tourism for almost 35 years. For the last 23 years, they run their travel agency, COMETA TRAVEL.

COMETA TRAVEL is well known for having done a conscientious job as the representative of the Yacht Angelito I. for 22 years and for their careful planning and organization of the travel packages they offer. Additionally, they take serious responsibility for selecting and monitoring their service providers and always keep the highest standards of honesty and ethics with them and the clients.
Maja, from Thun / Switzerland, has been a member of the crew of the Angelito Yacht for more than 35 years.
Part of Maja’s heart belongs to the Galápagos Islands, and she probably knows the islands better than anybody else. After touring for many years in the Galápagos, she has been an approved naturalist guide of the Galápagos National Park since 1992. She is undoubtedly our most erudite Galápagos specialist.
She worked half the year in the Quito office and the other as one of Angelito’s naturalist guides. So she also has a perfect combination of know-how!
Maja remembers many of the unique stories of the islands, its human population, and all visitor sites, and she acknowledges the island’s unique flora and fauna as if they were an encyclopedia.
Have
Bruna, Italian, but born and grew up in Bern / Switzerland, has lived in Ecuador since 1988 and got Ecuadorian nationality a while ago. For many years, she accompanied travel groups, but today, she is the head of Cometa Travel, in charge of all administrative tasks and its general manager.
She is also the tour operation manager, and her passion is designing and organizing tour packages, tailor-made with knowledge and creativity according to the passengers’ wishes and needs. She will surely be able to inspire you to discover Ecuador!
