Bruna Rea

Born in Bern, Switzerland, into an Italian family, Bruna moved to Ecuador in 1988 and never looked back. Over the decades, she has dedicated her career to managing travel operations and hosting international guests. As our General and Operations Manager, Bruna keeps everything running seamlessly day to day. Her absolute favorite part of the job is designing tailor-made journeys across Ecuador’s four worlds. An avid lover of nature and local culture, she has a soft spot for Ecuador’s incredible birdlife and traditional textile arts. Whether you want to track down rare cloud-forest birds or explore vibrant indigenous markets, Bruna loves shaping every itinerary around your specific interests with genuine local insight and creativity.

Maja Homberger

Originally from Thun, Switzerland, Maja has been an integral part of the iconic Yacht Angelito family and team for nearly 40 years. She became a certified Galápagos National Park Naturalist Guide back in 1992, earning a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and trusted specialists in the archipelago. Maja’s deep, lifelong connection to the islands gives her an exceptional understanding of their unique wildlife, history, and delicate conservation balance. Through her work, she loves sharing this rare perspective, helping you experience the Galápagos in a deeply meaningful, authentic way.
