An Italian born in Bern, Switzerland, and now an Ecuadorian citizen, has lived in Ecuador since 1988.
With many years of experience with international groups, Bruna now leads COMETA TRAVEL as its General and Operations Manager. Her passion lies in creating tailor-made tours throughout Ecuador — from the Galápagos and the Amazon rainforest to the Andes and the Pacific Coast — designed with creativity, expertise, and a deep understanding of each traveler’s wishes and interests.
Originally from Thun, Switzerland, Maja Homberger has been part of the Yacht Angelito team for over 35 years. A certified Galápagos National Park Naturalist Guide since 1992, she is widely recognized as one of the most knowledgeable Galápagos specialists.
Her deep connection to the islands, together with decades of guiding experience and her work at the COMETA TRAVEL office in Quito, gives her an exceptional understanding of the archipelago’s nature, history, and culture.
