While in the coast there are beautiful, white sand beaches at the shore of the Pacific Ocean, in the highlands you can see incredible mountain landscapes with snow-caped mountains and active volcanoes; some of which are even found deep in the tropical rain forest.

Maja Homberger and Bruna Rea have been involved in tourism for almost 20 years. For the last seven years, they have run their own travel agency, COMETA TRAVEL, and are the official representatives of Yacht Angelito I.

Who are Cometa Travel?

Maja Homberger, from Thun – Switzerland, has been a crew member of Yacht Angelito I for the last twenty years; accredited as National Park Guide level III since 1992. Part of Maja´s heart belongs to the Galapagos Islands and she probably knows the islands better than anybody else.

Bruna Rea, from Berne – Switzerland, has lived in Ecuador since 1988. For many years she accompanied travel groups, but today she is the head of the agency when Maja is guiding in the Galapagos. Also, she is in charge of organizing individual packages, tailor-made according to the passengers´needs. She will be able to inspire you to come to Ecuador!
